Loch Ken is home to a small population of Greenland White Fronted Geese, one of only a handful that winter in Scotland.
On Tuesday 22nd October, as part of the Wild Goose Festival 2024, we hosted a fascinating talk by Jack Barton from the local RSPB about the amazing journey of this endangered species to winter in Galloway, and the work being done to help support and protect the species.
