We are delighted for our Head Ranger Leanne Pumpr who has been awarded the prestigious Margaret Fraser Award for the best article of the year in the Scottish Countryside Rangers Association SCRAmble magazine. The award is presented each year and was judged by Ann McKillop of the Scottish Countryside Ranger Association.

‘Greenland to Galloway’
Loch Ken is home to a small population of Greenland White Fronted Geese, one of only a handful that winter in Scotland. On Tuesday 22nd October, as part of the Wild Goose Festival 2024, we hosted a fascinating talk by Jack Barton from the local RSPB about the amazing journey
