Members are the lifeblood of our organisation. Our trustees are drawn from the membership and it is they and our members who decide the overall direction of Loch Ken Trust activities.
Membership is completely free and is open to anyone. All that we ask is that you support our purpose and objects.
Purpose
“To promote the natural, cultural and recreational assets of the Loch Ken area for the benefit of the public and to support sustainable local communities.”
Objects
- The provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of the recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended
- The advancement of environmental protection or improvement
- The advancement of community development including rural regeneration
As a member you will be kept updated about what we’re working on and have a chance to have your say about what you think.
‘Ordinary Members’ must live within the river catchment of the Ken and Dee(see map below)
‘Associate Members’ live outwith this area.
