The Loch Ken Trust received funding from the National Centre for Resilience to deliver a project on ‘Building Resilience Capacity in Remote Rural areas’ back in 2023. On completion of this project, a research report was produced on the challenges faced by our communities. Please find a full copy of this research report available below.
This year Loch Ken Trust be working with communities on ‘Climate Ready Glenkens, a project funded by National Lottery Community Fund. The new funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, which distributes money raised by National Lottery players for good causes and is the largest community funder in the UK, will see the Loch Ken Trust Ranger Service working with communities in the Glenkens on resilience planning.
This project has included resilience conferences and our Chaos in Dalry mock scenario test event.
