I am Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor at the Galloway Hydro Scheme. I’ve worked at the scheme for 18 years and I am so proud of the contribution it makes to Galloway and the wider country. Through a series of dams and power stations the scheme generates renewable power for thousands of homes. Looking after the natural environment is a key part of what we do and that’s why we work closely with the Loch Ken Trust to ensure the area continues to be a vibrant place for both people and nature.
